Taylor began to record ASMR using her phone before uploading them to YouTube. PewDiePie included her in his game video just when she had 50k subscribers. This was about 1 1/2 months following the release of her first video. Taylor had stopped creating videos for her Youtube Channel after two months and nearly 100,000 subscribers. The reason for this was mostly due to technical issues related to her new equipment, and her overwhelming popularity. Following a break of a few days and a brief break, she began producing videos. Her most loved ASMR triggers is ASMR 10 Triggers to help you fall asleep (35 million views by august 2022). ASMR Twenty Triggers to Go To Sleep which was highly popular during July of 2017 has been viewed by over 38 million viewers as at the 20th of August in 2012. In August of 2017, Shane Dawson featured her during an interview. In addition, she reached 1,000,000 subscribers within a few days. In February, Wired UK estimated that she was earning $1,000 per day from advertising revenue through her YouTube channel
Helfer is a native of rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada, to Dennis Elaine and Dennis Elaine Helfer. Her parents are of German, English and Swedish heritage. She was a student at her school, the William E. Hay Composite High School situated within Stettler (Alberta). Three sisters she shared with lived on their family's grain farm. When she was waiting in line at a theatre the scout of a modelling agency was able to spot Helfer.
